Heechan Park, M.Arch, SBA, MAA, is a cofounder of Urban Agency, leading our Copenhagen office with Henning Stüben. He is a member of the Danish architect's association and the Dutch Register of Architects. Heechan is responsible for idea development and design concepts, and has been the driving force behind some of the studio’s award-winning designs for a number of important international competitions and commissions such as the Pedestrian and Cycle Bridge in Copenhagen in 2014 and the Laayoune Training Center in Morocco in 2015. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Heechan began his studies at Kwangwoon University and worked in architecture studios in Seoul before moving to Europe in 2005. He went on to earn his Master degree of Architecture and Urbanism in the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Before founding Urban Agency, he worked at JDS Architects in Copenhagen, where he became a senior project manager leading a number of major winning projects like Euralille Youth Center in France, Gwell Officetel in South Korea and H-tower in China. After the successful completion of his career in Copenhagen, he cofounded Urban Agency with offices in Copenhagen, Dublin and Lyon.
