Henning Stüben is a co­founder of Urban Agency, leading the Copenhagen office together with Heechan Park. His architectural design and urban planning skills, as well as his broad experience in project management and ­execution are of major importance to the office. Henning is responsible for business on the German and Scandinavian market. He has been in charge of a number of important international commissions and competitions like the Kalvebod Waves in Copenhagen, the Iceberg dwellings in Aarhus and the Lille Youth Center in France. Through his work with numerous waterfront and harbour projects, Henning has become one of the leading experts for waterfront developments in Northern Europe. Before founding Urban Agency, Henning has been partner and director of JDS Architects and co-founder of KLAR Architects in Copenhagen. Henning started his professional career in the Netherlands, working for Rem Koolhaas, NL Architects and Maxwan. Many of the projects Henning has developed are published worldwide as projects that have pushed the borders of contemporary architecture.
