COMMON SCAPE IN YEOUIDO

Yeouido, Seoul's financial hub, epitomizes the bustling environment of office workers in ties and suits. Despite the presence of a small park in the area, it is not conveniently located for busy professionals to enjoy during their lunch breaks. With the Yeouido Brighton project, we have responded to this need and created a new “scape” in Yeouido that did not previously exist. This well positioned and proportioned shared space, featuring a diverse variety of plantings and dynamic water elements, offers nearby office workers a brief respite. It has been the creation of a common and inclusive urban space that enables one to pause and escape from the daily hustle and bustle that has motivated Urban Agency from conceptualization to completion of this project.
